Celebrity Crushes
Who have been your celebrity crushes? Who would you have loved to have been lost on a deserted island with? Who would you love to be trapped in an elevator with (because of the interesting conversation)?
I loved Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamil) and Han Solo (Harrison FOrd) when I was little.
Obviously I liked Michael Jackson for a few months.
I was so in love with Pony Boy (C. Thomas Howell) from "The Outsiders" that when a friend gave me a photo of him from a fan magazine, I kept it folded up in my school desk because I was so embarrassed to look him in the eye!
I was absolutely devastated over Christian Bale in "Newsies." I actually wanted to weep--now that's a true crush (and some crazy puberty hormones goin' on).
I don't know that I would like to be stuck in an elevator with anyone. I might consider the deserted island with James--he's so resourceful and we're allowed to fool around!
I went through several in my mind before the obvious and longest running came to mind--I am in love with Luke Wilson. I think because he has some kind of similar features as Clark, kind of, in a way. I have forbidden myself from watching his movies...he's a heartbreaker...oh yeah, and I'm married to a stud, and he's real, and I live with him, and he is the father of my children..and I love him too.
Who is Luke Wilson? Is that Owen's brother? Cause if it is that is a crazy a. coincidence...Taylor and I just watched half of "Bottle Rocket" on tv. He's cute. Si, muy bonito.
My first crush was on Chase from the New Mickey Mouse Club. Don't ask why...I really couldn't tell you. Perhaps it was a foreshadowing of things to come. (He had flaming red hair.) I actually entered a contest to win a day as his "little sister". I didn't win. :(
my biggest crushs were the girl from jurassic park (arinna richards) and alicia silvertone. desert island, as if i wasnt on one now? also, stuck in an elevator might be the only way many girls would talk to me, i actually think of that a lot. if i see a girl i have no chance with, i usually think 'just give me 8 hours in an elevator with her and she'd be hooked. cathrine zeta jones is still a favorite. MILBSEW (mothers i'd like to be stuck in an elevator with)
I had a crush on Paul McCartney when I was 14--actually, it would be fun to be stuck in an elevator with him now just so we could chat about the good old days. In High School and later I went for the scholarly type. I had a poster of Dustin Hoffman hanging in my dorm room at BYU--on the ceiling if I remember correctly.
My mother had a poster of Dustin Hoffman on her ceiling at BYU? I'm just sitting here trying to digest that. I am totally blanking on crushes although I do agree that Hans Solo is possibly one of the sexiest men alive. And I mentioned Grover on Sesame Street because he has become such an international traveller and I find that quite attractive.
I'm really trying, but I'm not "getting" the Grover thing. Are you thinking Grover...like "Super Grover"? As in the blue puppet monster? Just wanted to clarify.

But Luke Wilson has the sensitive type appeal...and he is handsome still.

Oh my day has been so terrible! I am glad to stumble across these responses!
Thanks O's (and for the "used to be o's) for making my days so much brighter!
