Inquiry:

Ok, so the white comforters that James and I have been using. Picture them. Twin comforters, ilet lace around the edges. We took them from Mo and Papa in TX and never returned them.
Where did those originate? And when?
I am sorry to say, they officially did not make it after this last washing. Like, UN-USABLE, did not make it.
In fact I'm still at the computer because I have no blanket to sleep with. Just a sweaty hubby...and then some kids will join us.
Are you jealous?
'Night.

I remember those comforters well. they are from a really long time ago...like Cape Girardeau days, maybe. May they rest in peace, they deserve to fall apart. May you find something soft and comfy to replace them soon. (I probably have something in storage--sorry I can't be of help right now.)

I have vague memories of those.... very vague.

They had a long and useful life. RIP eyelet comforters. I have to say I am a big fan of the double comforters. In fact, after our stay in the guest room in Sweden, I am a fan of twin beds and separate comforters. I think we are headed in that direction. Good luck with new bedding.

I can't believe they are even older than I thought! Wow. Thanks for clearing that up!

The ultimate solution: King size bed, two king size comforters. Works for us. Separate but... just separate. And comfy. I guess we're not very good at sharing.
