Nah-ten gortoonga fyet, y'all!

Happy Santa Lucia Day! Can you believe, Cubby didn't dress up in the stable boy frock, and Hubby didn't even mention Lucia--not once. Needless to say, I got no sweet rolls in bed this morning. Nobody appreciates my heritage around here!

I complained to Waverly that she didn't remember and she promised me breakfast in bed tomorrow. It was really difficult explaining what a "star boy" is to Henry. Mostly because I have no idea what it means.

I was too busy to think about it even though Chip did invite us to come to the Scandinavian Club's activity at BYU. I wish I could have gone. Let's do Lucia when you all get here and teach the little ones the tradition! What do you say? What if it means you all get cinnamon rolls if we do?
I have a bit of family news to pass along. Kristina Rolph (nee Oscarson) gave birth to twin boys a couple of days ago in Washington, DC by cesearean section. They both weighed around 7 pounds (ouch) and both babies and mom are doing well. Spencer and Sho--any chance of you getting by to represent the fam before you leave?

Hooray for Kristina and boys! Wow! If any of you want to send her congrats, her email is krolph10 at hotmail dot com. I'll just leave this message up for a day or two and then delete it so it isn't here for all the internet to see. I've been emailing her a bit and she loves hearing from our family!

And Waverly forgot to bring my breakfast in bed again. Yes, let's make sure to train them well in the ways of Lucia when we're at your home, Mo. Why do you think I HAD an oldest daughter, anyway??!

Same reason I did, of course, to babysit and do Lucia. Ask me how many times we got rolls in bed. My oldest was a good surrogate mom, though.
