Marathon Mommy

Today Suzie Petunia made us all proud. She ran her first marathon and did a phenomenal job! She ran the Ogden Marathon in 3 hours and 57 minutes! Way to go Suzie! You can see that she had a lot of support and many fans to cheer her on. Pictured here are her fans, Suzie and her husband at the finish line, and the feet that pounded the pavement for 26.2 miles! She is doing well and feeling good. We are all so proud!

Hey Oscarsons, I am hijacking your blog! I just wanted to thank you also for your support at the marathon. It was fun to see a sign with my name on it. :-) I especially needed it then. I hope to meet all of you next time. It was great to finally put Carrie's name with her face. I am so proud of Suzie. She did awesome! You have raised an amazing daughter- thanks for sharing her with me. We have had so much fun!

Wow. Makes me tired just thinking about it. I am really impressed. And your feet look so good! I know someone who lost all her toenails after running a marathon. Your feet make it look easy. HOw do you do it?

Sarah, may I add again, fantastic job!! Your time is awesome! Tell me how you did it? You are inspiring. Did you listen to music? Did you have a hard time recovering afterward? I have heard horror stories about recovering-- so I have never wanted to try. Tell us your secret.

I'm in extensive training for the prestigious "Tour de Doughnut" marathon. I've 'felt the burn' at Dunkin Donuts, Shipleys, and I'm looking to conquer Krispy Kreme next.

Willpower, it's all about willpower.

By the way, congratulations on such a stunning accomplishment suzie!!!!

Big news! I'm planning on watching the back to back to back X-Files episode marathon on the Sci-Fi channel. Looks like I can call myself "Marathon Mommy" too!
