2) How old was she (that was a hint! It wasn't Chip or Spencer!... or Dad.) when she got it?
3) When did I receive it as a hand-me-down? Or hand-me-up?
4) How is it possible that it has "made the cut" loh these many years... move after move... pregnancy after pregnancy... and this is the first time I have worn it since college?
5) Do I look hot?
Extra credit:
6) What brand is it?
7) And now it is time to be brutally honest: Do I need to give it to DI?

Was it mine? Is that the kilt from Scotland? Or, was it Grandma O's? That would be cool--don't get rid of it now!
Mo, your answers are incorrect. And you didn't even attempt to answer question #5, so I am sorry to say you have failed this quiz.
However, you'll be happy to know that this is in no way a reflection on you as a student. This IS, after all, a silly, silly test.
Anyone else? I have a chocolate bar from IKEA for the person that answers all 7 questions correctly.
I am going to say a Guess skirt that was originally Amy's bought in 1992. And yes, though you make anything look good, maybe it would be happier at DI. I propose a clothing swap...this is how it works: Everyone give me your cute stuff.
My favorite pair of shoes are Abby's "sloppy seconds" and I am OK with that.
And YES, you do look hot (does warm count?)
Do I get the chocolate or not?
Carrie knows, Carrie knows. I asked her today. I will give her a chance to win the candy bar but if she doesn't respond soon, I will.
I am going to guess that Eliza Briggs wrapped her baby sister in it while crossing the plains and then made it into a skirt later...yes, it wants to go to DI. Yes, you are hot, no matter what you wear, and since I answered Eliza B I'm gonna have to go with the brand name being a trick question. I'm gonna find my own chocolate now, but you could also send me chocolate at any time.
I am going to see your hubby tonight!
1)It was I, Carrie, who owned it. I think it was part of a Christmas outfit given to me by Dad.
2)I'm not sure how old I was... I think it was in Massachusetts so I was 15 or 16.
3)I don't remember when I gave it to you, but I think it was before my mission because I don't think I took it with me. I left most of my clothes there.
4)It is good quality. It probably still looks brand new and is therefore difficult to just "get rid of". No this is not the first time you have worn it since college.
5) It's hard for you NOT to look hot even in that thick, thick skirt.
6) I can't remember the brand. Is it Limited Express? Or a brand that was sold at Filene's?
7) Yes, it is time for DI, unless you want to "felt" it and turn it onto some really creative things that mom has in her new craft book If you are in doubt, bring it on out to Utah and I will make you something out of it. But, YES, this skirt needs to be retired from active wearing.
This is Amy...posing as Mo. Mo and I are laughing at all the responses...oh, let me just finish my IBC Rootbeer that Dad poured me...on ice...with a napkin for a coaster even though we are drinking it on the kitchen table. Anyway, I owned the skirt at BYU after my mission. I wore it with a really cute scottie dog sweater...I love Carrie's hand me downs. How did Sarah get it? And yes, Sarah, you look hot. But I agree with the gang...you always look hot. Do I get chocolate now? Just because...
OOOoooh, so close, Carrie! It is from The Gap. Good old Gap... But I am wondering why everyone says it is time for DI. Is it ugly? Is it just out of style? Is it simply because of its age? But if there is something cute and creative I could make out of it, I might be willing to go that route. I'm not quite ready to put it in the box for DI. I have made peace with my lack of fashion savvy-ness.
It's the thickness of the fabric that is one of my main issues. I would even say cut it off to your knee or boot top length to make it a little more "now". You COULD wear that skirt with boots and it helps a little. It's too long to explain why boots makes it OK. We'll talk in April.
wow, I can't believe I missed the chance to earn chocolate! But Abby stole all of my answers anyway.
