The Shamu Obsession...

We saw Shamu at Sea World back in June and Mia has been "hooked" ever since...ha, hooked. Anyway, all you have to do is sing the beat to the Shamu song and she puts her hands together and does the "Shamu splash" signal. She brings us her Ocean Life book all of the time and wants you to turn to K, for Killer Whale. I don't care for stuffed animals but as her birthday approached I couldn't resist because I knew how much she would love it. And she did. How gratifying, to find a present for a two year old that they really wanted. Happy Birthday Mia!

i can SO relate to the older siblings micro managing what the "baby" is doing...what good supportive helpers! cute squeels of laughter at shamu--sounds like it could be whale noises

That was just too sweet-- I love excited little squeals-- you know that they are so perfectly happy.

Emma Jo! You are the poor, poor winner of one of my ugly mice ornaments. Send me a note with your address and I'll stick one of the nasty little things in the mail to you. The only rule is to PLEASE not let Suzie P have to see it. I'd hate for it to ruin her Christmas.
